We are near capacity for this event. If you are unable to register online, please email Marsha Harman to be added to the wait list.

Come join SEAOI and YEC for a visit to Atlas Tube and see firsthand how Hollow Structural Steel (HSS) sections are manufactured.

Atlas Tube is a major manufacturer of HSS sections and has graciously offered to provide bus transportation for SEAOI from the loop to their manufacturing facility (18 miles south of the Loop near Lake Calumet) and back downtown after the tour concludes. The bus will depart from Zekleman Industries (the owner of Atlas Tube) located at 227 West Monroe Street, promptly at 2:00 pm.  If you will be providing your own transportation, plan on arriving at the manufacturing facility no later than 2:30 pm.  Free parking is available at the facility.

Participants must wear long pants (dress pants are not recommended) and closed toed shoes.  Other PPE (hard hats, safety goggles, vests, and ear protection) will be provided at the plant.

Space is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible.  If you intend to travel on the bus provided by Atlas, please RSVP by July 3rd.  Transportation cannot be guaranteed for attendees who reply after July 3rd

Registration will close on July 14th at 2:00 pm, or when capacity is reached, whichever comes first.

This event carries 1.0 hour of Continuing Education credit. CE certificates will be emailed to participants after the event.
