EEIS has enjoyed the effects of a growing economy in Alaska
and is associated with many kinds of business opportunities
in engineering. EEIS provides architectural and engineering
services as a prime consultant on building projects, and
provides structural engineering services to architects and
other engineering firms for projects throughout the state.
We have expanded our capabilities in architectural and
engineering to design for Airport Hangars and for remote Man
Camps throughout Alaska.
We have a long history of providing engineering services for
the petroleum exploration and production industries. As a
result of engineering work with several exploration drilling
companies, we have built a high level of competency for
design and fabrication of steel structural modules that are
fabricated in Anchorage and other places throughout the US,
then trucked by convoy to the North Slope for final
installation. Without a doubt, EEIS owes many of its
opportunities to its partnering drilling companies. As a
result of our association with the drilling companies, we
have been able to expand our capabilities to provide the
full range of engineering and construction support services
for Alaska’s Oil and Gas Exploration and Production
industry. Most recently we completed a project that required
the architectural/civil, structural, piping, mechanical,
electrical, instrumentation, and fire and gas control
engineering design for a facility constructed on a man-made
island in the Arctic Ocean. In the construction phase of the
same project, EEIS provided Purchasing Oversight, Logistics
Control, and Field-Engineering Support of a 76-man camp, a
pumping/piping system, and all the modules associated with
the project’s drill rig support.
EEIS has been fortunate to be able to provide its
professional expertise to its many clients, and we will
continue to grow and add expert staff who can support the
company’s mission to provide the expanding services required
by our clients and by the Alaska business community. We will
continue to earn our clients’ loyalty through our
performance and will depend on continuing our success with
client satisfaction. |
